Use shortcut-focused settings and plugins in Illegalcord.

Illegalcord does not register a single universal Keybinds tab in the local settings core. Shortcut behavior is provided by specific settings and plugins.

Built-in shortcut setting

On supported Windows desktop builds, Illegalcord Settings > Illegalcord can show:

Setting	Purpose
Register Ctrl+Q as shortcut to close Discord	Adds Ctrl+Q as an alternative close shortcut.

This setting requires a restart because it affects desktop integration.

Shortcut-focused plugins

Search the Plugins tab for the Shortcuts tag. Examples in the source tree include plugins that improve quick reply, console access, channel tabs, web keybinds, keyboard navigation, command palettes, and theme switching.

Plugin area	What it usually changes
Chat shortcuts	Replying, editing, mentions, timestamps, and message actions.
Navigation shortcuts	Channel tabs, server search, command palettes, and keyboard navigation.
Developer shortcuts	Console helpers and debugging access.
Theme shortcuts	Quick theme switching in supported desktop builds.

Configure plugin shortcuts

1. Open Plugins

   Go to Illegalcord Settings > Plugins.

2. Filter by tag

   Select the Shortcuts tag.

3. Open settings

   Click the cog wheel on a shortcut plugin when it has configurable keybinds.

4. Restart if required

   Some shortcut behavior depends on patches or native registration and needs a reload.

If a shortcut stops working, check whether another plugin or Discord’s own keybinds use the same combination.
